BARELY 72 hours after the Rivers State Governor and the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, was barred from exchanging pleasantries with President Goodluck Jonathan, the duo met at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Saturday and embraced each other.

GUNMEN suspected to be members of Boko Haram Saturday attacked seven hilly communities in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State and killed about 15 people. Nigeria Political Party Crisis (PDP) - Jonathan, Amaechi Face-off Worsens


The face-off between President Goodluck Jonathan and Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, worsened on Friday, with the presidency accusing the governor of disrespecting the President.

Special Adviser to the President on Political Matter, Ahmed Gulak, accused Amaechi of showing utter disregard for the President by arriving late for Thursday’s mid-term dinner organised by Jonathan after the event had started.

Question: My husband suffers from serious depression and has become completely uninterested in sex since being prescribed medication. We have a loving family with two wonderful teenage children, but I can’t live without any form of passion. His response was that I should have affairs on a “don’t ask, don’t tell basis”. At first I was horrified, but now I wonder if he’s right. What do you think?

Terrorism War in Nigeria- 32 Dead as Gunmen Raid 3 Villages in Plateau



About 32 people have been killed in three villages in Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State Northern Nigeria in an attack allegedly coordinated by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

The attackers allegedly invaded Bolgang, Karkashi and Magama villages on Wednesday morning, shooting indiscriminately.

Nigeria Political Party Crisis (NGF) - Jonathan didn’t Meet Amaechi for Security Reason


The Presidency on Thursday defended the prevention of Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State from exchanging pleasantries with President Goodluck Jonathan by a security operative during dinner at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Wednesday.

It said the incident was purely a security issue that should not be politicised,especially by opposition political parties.
