Surgeons Creates A New Nose On A Man's Forehead

 

The man in this photo is a 22-year old Chinese man called Xiaolian. Xiaolian had a fatal accident in August 2002 and damaged his nose but he failed to properly treat his damaged nose which caught an infection that corroded the cartilage and rendered the nose beyond repair by surgeons.

As a result of this, the surgeons had no choice than to create a new nose for Xiaolian on his forehead to transplant it in place of his damaged nose. The procedure was carried out at a Hospital in Fuzhou, Fujian, China. This was done by placing a skin tissue expander onto Xiaolian's forehead and was cut into the shape of a nose which was supported by a cartilage taken from Xiaolian's ribs.

Many will find this difficult to believe but it happened really in Lagos, Nigeria.

A cripple named Kundus Kazeem has been arrested by the Nigerian police for allegedly raping a 19-year-old bread seller at his home in Ajegunle area of Lagos State.

Kundus who claims he had a fee agreement with the bread seller has been charged before an Apapa Magistrate’s court and he is now facing a two-count charge of felony and rape under the Criminal Code, Laws of Lagos State.

Shekau Comes Out Alive In Video; Shames Jonathan, Soldiers

 

Leader of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau, who was declared dead by Nigerian military on August 19th 2013 has just appeared in a new video, saying he is alive. In the video, Shekau also claimed full responsibility of the recent attacks that killed several soldiers and civilians in Borno State.

“They said I am dead, but here I am. Everybody should be judged according to the dictates of his conscience. What I am doing is written in the Holy Qur’an and the Hadith and I will not stop. I challenge all the clerics of the world to question my deeds."
“Nigerian soldiers are late. After killing many of them in Monguno and Benisheik, we have snatched their armoured carriers and a Hilux van and then hoisted Islamic flags on them. We now move freely with them.”

The factional Peoples Democratic Party spearheaded by Alhaji Abubakar Baraje, a frontline politician of nPDP has advised President Goodluck Jonathan to forgo his 2015 presidential ambition as it is not in the “best interest of the country”.

“Mr. President should heed the advice of well-meaning distinguished personalities such as constitutional law guru, Prof. Ben Nwabueze (SAN) and Archbishop Emeritus of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, His Eminence, Anthony Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, all of whom have advised him to correctly read the handwriting on the wall and stay away from the 2015 presidential race." The splinter PDP made its position known in a statement issued and signed by Mr Eze Chukwuemeka Eze.
