Nigerian Pilgrims Refuse To Say ‘Amen’ to CAN President, Pastor Oritsejafor's Prayers

 
A mild drama ensued at the River Jordan when the Nigerian delegation in Israel led by President Jonathan went there yesterday to offer prayers, led by the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Ayo Oritsejafor.

Desiremike.blogspot.com gathered from a source that after praying for President Jonathan and several dignitaries at the venue, Mr. Oritsejafor then specifically prayed for Mrs. Oduah, but to his surprise several people in the gathering refused to say “Amen” to his prayer, stunning the CAN president and Mr. Jonathan. Several people then exchanged glances and moved on.

Gay Bible Has Been Published

 
A book claiming to be the world’s first ‘gay bible’ has been published to coincide with the debate on same-sex marriage.

Titled the ‘Queen James Bible’, its editors claim that it is a re-working of the King James Bible translated in a way that ‘prevents homophobic misinterpretation of God’s Word’.

MEND Responsible for Warri Refinery Explosion

 
The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) has claimed responsibility for the explosion that engulfed the Warri Refinery earlier yesterday.

In an online statement, spokesman Jomo Gbomo said the movement was waging a war tagged ‘Hurricane Exodus’ , with the intention to burn down the entire refining facility.

The statement said “As long as President Goodluck Jonathan continues to rely on an unsustainable and fraudulent Niger Delta Amnesty programme, peace and security will continue to elude his government in the region. ‘Hurricane Exodus’ is on course!”

Warri Refinery Hit by Explosion

 
An explosion at the Warri Refinery and Petrochemical Company, WRPC, Warri, Delta State, Tuesday, has forced the 35-year-old company to shut down production.

The fire was said to have started at about 11.00 am in the refining section of the company, a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, with an installed capacity of 125,000 bpd, while crude oil refining process was on.

A little girl has been smuggled out of Africa and sold for organ harvesting, authorities have revealed.

It is the first case of a child being trafficked into Britain for the express intention of providing organs for people desperate for a transplant, reports the Telegraph.

The girl, whose identity has been protected, was taken from Somalia and smuggled into the UK so that her organs could be removed and sold.
