Woman Sold her Grandchild for N200,000 ($1,257)

The Plateau State Police Command, “A” Division paraded Onyinyechi Nwabueze, 38, for selling her eight-month-old grandchild, after the baby, Chiamaka, had been rescued in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

Blessing Godspower Seventeen-year-old, who was staying with her mother at Rukuba Road area of Jos North, was allegedly put in the family way by her boyfriend.

The Rivers State Majority Leader Mr. Chidi Lloyd yesterday (Wednesday) arraign before the Rivers state high court in tight security as security operatives frisked all that entered the courtroom.

Lloyd, who was arraigned on six counts of attempted murder, conspiracy, assault and malicious damage, arrived at the court about 10.52am accompanied by riot policemen and other security operatives.

Clad in blue attire, the lawmaker limped as he entered the court premises, supported by two unidentified persons.

Police have arrested three men and one woman in Malawi's capital Lilongwe, after they were found with human male private parts.
Two of the people arrested were employees of a morgue.

Police identified the suspects as Sebita Mwale, 27, her fiance Erick Mwandira, 34, mortuary supervisor Lufeyo Mphimbi, 54, and his assistant Samalani Jabu, 58. According to police, Mwandira approached the mortuary supervisor at his work, and they agreed to divide the profits of the sale. Mwandira tried to sell private parts to a businesswoman for about $1,500.

Pastor caught Selling Drugs Claimed it will bring People closer to God

A pastor claimed that drugs will bring people closer to God, according to police reports.

The pastor from Fountain Hills, Arizona, was arrested for allegedly dealing heroin, methamphetamine and other drugs for what he considered for spiritual purposes.

Deputies are concerned that some of his customers may have been children. Mark Derksen, 63, a youth pastor who visited nursing homes, told deputies that drugs brought his customers "closer to God."

A man caused four houses to burn to the ground after he was trying to kill the devil, according to police reports in Malaysia.

The police on Monday filed a six count charge including attempted murder at the Rivers State high court but failed to show up in court.
