A Man in Florida hires hitman to kill son, wife, mother-in-law, brother-in-law

A man was arrested and charged with attempted murder related charges after he hired a hitman to kill his son along with several members of his family, according to police reports in Florida.

Broward Police said that a Florida businessman had tried to hire a murderer from El Salvador to kill his wife, mother-in-law, brother-in-law and 9-month-old son.

Jason Dennis Simione, 39, was arrested Monday and charged with three counts of solicitation to commit first-degree murder. He was also accused of threatening to detonate an explosive device and child abuse, in connection with bomb-making materials found in his house, including galvanized pipe caps, nails, gunpowder, cables and batteries.
A massive stash of arms and ammunition was also found, including more than 70,000 bullets and a .50 caliber sniper rifle.

"The court is concerned with the suspect's willingness to hire a murderer to kill everyone in his family, including his own son," Broward Court judge John Hurley, who set bail at $5 million, said.

Simione, president of Bulldog Tactical Equipment LLC, a supplier of tactical and assault gear, asked an employee of his company if he knew anyone in his native country who would be willing to commit murder. Then, he offered the man $150,000 to organize the murder of his wife, his mother-in-law, his brother-in-law and the couple's baby, if he did not get child custody in an imminent divorce from his wife Megumi "May" Simione.

Simione's wife filed for divorce in July and filed an injunction against the man on Saturday, saying he was abusing steroids, which makes him paranoid, delusional and violent.

Simione, according to an arrest warrant, also used racial slurs toward employees and often said President Obama should be killed because of his race.
