Mother sold his baby for N12, 500 to buy new mobile phone

 

A mother has sold his 17 month old baby to buy mobile phone and few new tops in the Indian state of Odisha.

It was reported that she sold her baby for N12,500, the court directed the police to find the child and hand him over to social services since the mother was clearly not capable of handling the responsibility of a child.

The mother, who is said to be 20years old, pleaded guilty and refused to take her son back when she was offered so by the police initially.
