Man Arrested for Stripping 2 Daughters and Testing for Virginity

A man suspecting his two daughters of running things (tasting 'brown bananas') found himself in murky waters after he ordered his two daughters to strip naked so he could check if they were still virgins.

The 62-year-old man (name withheld to protect the victims identity) ordered his two daughters aged 18 and 20 to undress in front of him and allegedly checked their breasts before inserting his 'notorious' fingers into the young ladies 'monkeys' to see if they had eaten 'brown bananas' already.

The elderly man is said to have told his daughters that he was checking whether they were still intact as he wanted to know their value since they could get married anytime. The man's actions did not go down well with the elder one who later told a neighbour what had happened.

For conducting virginity tests on his daughters, the man was hauled before Binga magistrate, Mr Stephen Ndlovu, facing indecent assault charges. The 62-year-old father came clean and pleaded guilty to the charges.

The court heard that sometime last month, the accused called his two daughters into his bedroom hut where he lectured them on life issues. He reportedly told his daughters that they were grown ups and he was expecting them to get married while he was still alive so he could bless their marriages.

While the daughters were still shocked by their father's sentiments, he reportedly asked them if they were still virgins - a question they all failed to answer. The seemingly over-protective father reportedly then advised his two daughters that he was going to conduct virginity tests on them before ordering them to undress themselves.

The 22-year-old daughter was reluctant to follow her father's instructions, but had no choice after her father had threatened to beat her up. When the two victims stripped, the man allegedly checked their breasts before shoving his fingers into their private parts.

Haunted by the fact that her own father had literally, 'fingered' her, a few days later, the elder one failed to keep the matter to herself and told a neighbour who advised her to report the matter to police leading to the accused's arrest.

While in court, the man stunned the gallery when he revealed that he saw absolutely nothing wrong with testing for virginity on his daughters. He argued that he had to anticipate the mother's role since his wife has since passed on. For his unexpected form of child abuse, the man was remanded in custody to 11 July for sentence.
