Wedding Cancelled as Bride Sees Video of Nigerian Hubby Bedding Stripper

A Bride refused to show up at her wedding ceremony at a church in Bulawayo's Luveve Zimbabwe suburb last week on Saturday resulting in the cancellation of the wedding. This was after she discovered that her husband had allegedly bedded a suspected stripper at a bachelors' party the previous night.

The groom, who had reportedly enjoyed an eight minute orgy with a hired stripper, had to wait in vain for the arrival of his bride. Chinedu Okpeh, a Bulawayo businessman, was meant to tie the knot with Cynthia Muchinezuro last Saturday but the latter did not show up. Several phone calls were made but no one close to Muchinezuro answered their phones.

The bride's failure to show up, it was gathered, forced the pastor to cancel the wedding and invited guests reportedly left one after the other, when it became clear to them that the ceremony would no longer take place.

A source who spoke to our news crew said a Nigerian man, Okpeh, had a bachelors' party organised by his friends to dance the night away waiting for the big ceremony that never was.

It turned out that the party became a wedding spoiler after one of Okpeh's unidentified friends captured him on video and sent the recording to Muchinezuro. A bed mattress was put at the centre of the room where the party was held at a Selbourne park house. Other guys could be seen cheering while the said strippers were dancing before indulging.

After viewing the video, Muchinezuro reportedly told her aunt that she was no longer going tie the knot with her man. It is said that she immediately ordered her bridesmaids not to wear the wedding dresses.

"At first she refused to tell elders why she was calling off the wedding. All she could do was to weep uncontrollably. After a while, she called three of her aunts (her father's sisters) to a secluded place and showed them the recording. They tried to persuade her to go ahead with the wedding but she refused," narrated a source.

Efforts to get a comment from Muchinezuro were fruitless. Her phone went unanswered. However, our news crew managed to get hold of one of her aunts.

"We would appreciate it if you can give her a chance to come to terms with what happened," she said.

Opkeh is said to have dashed out of the country to Nigeria last Monday afternoon as he could not explain the situation to his in-laws. His friend who preferred to be identified as Elton said it was difficult to suspect the person who could have leaked the recording because at the party most people were seen recording the act using their mobile phones.
